An award-winning financial planning and investment consultancy headquartered in London, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Executive / Manager to help with the delivery of its ambitious growth plans.

The role:

Reporting to the Board, the successful candidate will be accountable for the development of the operational aspects of the business required to deliver the companies recently agreed 5-year plan, which targets assets under influence of £1.5Bn and anticipates a quadrupling of headcount.

The Operations Executive is a functional role, the holder of which will engage with all aspects of the business from Front Office and Investment Services through IT and third-party service providers to legal, compliance, HR and finance, with responsibility for the design and maintenance of processes and systems to drive continuous efficiency improvements and ensure clients receive an outstanding experience.

As the world of financial services develops it will be important that maximum use is made of developments in information technology to enable all team members to meet their deliverables with the minimum of human input.

The successful candidate is anticipated to be someone with an enquiring mind who is familiar with the challenges faced by growing businesses.

Relevant financial services experience is essential, as are aptitude and the ability to make a positive difference.

Skills and qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable leadership and change management skills
  • An understanding of data analysis and key performance metrics
  • A solutions creator and problem solver
  • The ability to engage positively with all stakeholders, both internal and external
